Product Questions & Answers (1)
Question by: Earl Y on Jan 14, 2026, 10:08 AM
fitting's got a 45 degree elbow on it -- does that mean the hose end is a -4 dash size or is that the JIC side?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jan 16, 2026, 10:00 AM
The -4 dash size refers to the hose end of the fitting. The JIC female swivel side is a 9/16 inch connection with a 74 degree cone seat. So you've got a -4 hose crimp on one end and a 9/16 JIC female swivel on the other, with that 45 degree elbow geometry in between.
