Product Questions & Answers (2)

Question by: Hubert P on Aug 8, 2025, 8:09 PM
what kind of plating does this swivel have, and is it gonna hold up in wet or dirty conditions?
Answer by: Customer Support on Aug 10, 2025, 1:44 PM
Dura-Kote plating is what covers this fitting, and it's specifically there to fight corrosion. Carbon steel on its own can take a beating in tough environments, but that plating is what gives it the extra edge in places where moisture, grime, or exposure are part of the daily reality. It's built for demanding markets like mining, shipyards, and mobile equipment, so wet and dirty conditions are very much part of what it was made to handle.
Question by: Warren C on Mar 10, 2026, 6:27 PM
What kind of environments will this fitting hold up in? I'm thinking about corrosion resistance, specifically.
Answer by: Customer Support on Mar 12, 2026, 6:40 AM
Dura-Kote plating gives it superior corrosion resistance. So it should hold up well in places like shipyards, mining use, and other industrial settings where that's a concern.
