Question by: Pete B on Oct 24, 2025, 7:48 PM
trying to match up fittings here, is this one a -6 hose end with a 3/4 JIC female swivel?
Answer by: Customer Support on Oct 26, 2025, 6:38 PM
It’s a JIC female swivel on one end and it’s sized for a -6 hose (hose dash size -6). The End Size 1 is 0.75 with End Type 1 listed as JIC, and the other end is meant for a line, hose, or tube connection.
Question by: Keith O on May 17, 2025, 8:01 AM
what industries is this fitting actually built for, or is it more of a general-purpose thing?
Answer by: Customer Support on May 18, 2025, 10:46 AM
Mobile equipment, mining, shipyard work, primary metals, and wind power are all listed applications for this fitting. It's built for high-pressure, high-reliability hydraulic systems, so it's not a light-duty or general-purpose item. Carbon steel construction and Dura-Kote plating are what push it into those more demanding industrial environments.
