both ends on this fitting are male JIC, right? just want to make sure before I order -- got a panel I'm threading through and need male on each side

Correct on both counts. Each end carries a 9/16-18 male JIC SAE 37-degree flare thread, so you'll get that same connection on either side of the bulkhead. Both threads are built to SAE J514, and the drill size runs 0.297 mm consistently across both ends. Should drop right into a panel mount situation where you need male JIC coming out each way.
