The hose features a robust construction with a 1-ply braid of aramid polyester cover and stainless steel reinforcement, providing excellent vibration and impulsing resistance.

This hose boasts a wide temperature range, withstanding temperatures from -100°F, and a minimum bend radius of 7.75 inches, offering flexibility in tight spaces. Compliant with USCG and DNV standards, and certified to ABS and SAE 100R14A, it meets rigorous industry requirements. The blue color and Teflon tube material further enhance its suitability for harsh conditions, although it is not recommended for steam-cold water cycling.

got a steam line that sees a lot of shake and pressure bumps, is this hose built to handle that kind of abuse

For steam and compressor discharge service, this TEF hose is built with a 1 ply stainless steel braid and a Teflon tube, and it is called out as withstanding vibration and impulsing. It also has premium abrasion resistance with an aramid polyester cover, which helps when the hose is rubbing or moving around in service.

Can this hose handle just about any chemical I throw at it, like the description says?

Within its rated temperature range, this Aeroquip TEF hose is indeed designed to be impervious to degradation from nearly all chemical applications. However, it's specifically *not* recommended for steam-cold water cycling.
