Reckon this gear pump assembly would work okay on my tractor for the hydraulics?
Answer by: Customer Support on Mar 23, 2026, 7:22 PM
This tandem gear pump assembly is used in tractor and harvester hydraulic systems.
Question by: Gary A on Sep 6, 2025, 8:22 AM
got a tractor and harvester setup that runs pretty hard through harvest season -- will this tandem pump hold up in colder morning temps when we're first firing things up?
Answer by: Customer Support on Sep 8, 2025, 6:37 AM
Cold-weather startups are covered here. The assembly is rated down to -20 degrees Celsius for minimum working temperature, so early-morning fall and winter conditions shouldn't cause any issues getting the hydraulics moving. The unit is built for exactly the kind of mobile equipment work you're describing, tractors and harvesters being right on the list of intended applications.
