Question by: Roy C on Feb 19, 2026, 6:03 PM
what's the max pressure this valve can handle, and is brass alright for high-temp situations?
Answer by: Customer Support on Feb 21, 2026, 8:03 AM
Rated up to 362 PSI for working pressure, though the series group ceiling goes to 600 PSI depending on configuration. Temperature-wise, the valve can handle up to 320 degrees F, but only at reduced pressure. So if you're running hotter lines, you'll want to back off the pressure accordingly. The brass body with chrome plated brass ball holds up well across a range of industrial conditions, and the Teflon seats and seals help keep things tight through those temperature swings.

got a line that’s 1-1/2 NPT. is this valve the right port size or am i gonna be fighting adapters?
Answer by: Customer Support on Mar 23, 2026, 10:32 AM
Port fit is straightforward on this one. It comes with 1-1/2 NPT ports, so it matches 1-1/2 NPT threaded connections without needing a size change.
