Question by: Keith E on Dec 13, 2025, 12:21 PM
pressure drops off above 175°F -- does that mean i cant run this at all in higher temps, or just that the 2000 PSI rating dont apply anymore?
Answer by: Customer Support on Dec 15, 2025, 6:36 AM
The 2000 PSI rating is specific to cold, non-shock conditions up to 175°F. Above that threshold, the pressure rating does decline, but the valve itself is rated to operate up to 400°F. So you can run it in higher-temperature applications, you just can't hold it to that full 2000 PSI figure once temps climb past 175. Size your system pressure accordingly for whatever operating temp you're working with.
