Question by: Chad W on Oct 29, 2025, 5:15 PM
what's the pressure rating on this valve, and does it hold up at higher temps the same way?
Answer by: Customer Support on Oct 31, 2025, 6:39 AM
At standard cold, non-shock conditions, the 1/2 inch size falls in the 1/4 to 1 inch range, so you're looking at a 2000 PSI rating. That said, the pressure rating does drop off as temperature climbs. Running it at elevated temps means you'll see a reduced ceiling compared to that 2000 PSI figure, so it's worth factoring in your operating conditions before putting it to work in a hot environment.
Question by: Daryl S on Aug 18, 2025, 7:16 PM
What size ports does this valve have? Just wanna make sure it'll fit my setup before I order.
Answer by: Customer Support on Aug 20, 2025, 11:22 AM
This ball valve comes with 1/2 NPT ports, which should be compatible with standard 1/2 NPT connections.
Question by: Lance P on Jan 13, 2026, 9:39 AM
got a 1/2 npt hydraulic line, will this valve thread right in or is it some oddball port?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jan 14, 2026, 7:47 PM
Fit-wise it uses standard 1/2 NPT ports, so it threads into other 1/2 NPT connections.
