The 2CFP60 Series 3-Port Pressure Compensated Priority Flow Control 1 - 16 GPM Handknob adjustment offers reliable economical and compact flow control ideal for harvesters refuse haulers and various mobile and industrial applications.

Engineered by Danfoss (Power Solutions II LLC) this valve ensures the actuator speed remains largely independent of load and pressure conditions. Designed to regulate flow from a fixed supply such as a gear or piston pump the valve diverts surplus flow to the bypass port for secondary circuits.

It features hardened and ground working parts for accurate flow control and durability while its leakproof adjust screw allows easy and accurate flow setting adjustments. The maximum operating pressure is 5000 PSI making it robust for heavy-duty use.

The cartridge construction sold separately provides versatile application options including integration into a Hydraulic Integrated Circuit or directly into an actuator.

Running this on a refuse hauler that sees a lot of load swings throughout the day. Will the regulated flow hold steady even when pressure conditions are jumping around?

Pressure compensation is the whole point of this valve. The regulated flow stays largely independent of both load and pressure changes, so actuator speed holds consistent even when conditions shift. The inlet pressure will run about 100 psi above whichever is higher, the regulated pressure or the bypass pressure, but the flow itself stays controlled within the 1 to 16 GPM range you dial in with the handknob. For a refuse hauler application, that kind of stability under variable load is exactly what this valve is built to handle.

got a fixed displacement gear pump feeding a couple circuits. how does this valve handle the extra oil once the priority flow is met?

With a fixed supply pump, it passes the flow you set for the regulated port and sends any surplus flow out the bypass port for a secondary circuit. The regulated flow and actuator speed stay largely independent of load and pressure changes.
