The Vickers by Danfoss / Eaton 2CFRC60 Series Flow Control Valves are designed for precision flow regulation in demanding industrial applications. These valves offer a pressure rating of 350 bar (5000 psi) and a maximum flow rate of 16 GPM.
This two-port, restrictive flow regulator features a built-in free flow check valve, ensuring efficient control of actuator speed. Crafted with a fixed pressure-compensated style, the 2CFRC60 Series provides reliable performance in harvesters, refuse haulers, and other mobile and industrial processes.
The valve's operation involves flow entering the inlet, passing through an adjustable orifice, and exiting the regulated port, with the integrated check valve allowing free return flow. Suitable for use within a temperature range of ndash;22deg; to +194deg;F, it is built for durability with nitrile seal materials.
For optimal performance, maintaining cleanliness level 18/13 or better is recommended. The housing for the valve, cavity size A7447, is sold separately.

got a cylinder that’s moving too quick. is this the kind of valve you’d use to slow it down without the speed changing every time the load shifts
Answer by: Customer Support on Nov 16, 2025, 6:34 PM
For controlling actuator speed, it fits that job since it is a pressure compensated, two port flow regulator. The adjustable orifice sets the flow into or out of the actuator for meter in or meter out control, and the pressure compensation helps keep the regulated flow more consistent as pressure changes.

Will this work on my wood splitter? I need to control the speed of the ram.
Answer by: Customer Support on Feb 27, 2026, 4:30 PM
This flow control valve can certainly regulate actuator speed, which would apply to a wood splitter ram. Just make sure the flow rate and pressure of your system are within the valve's 16 GPM and 5000 PSI limits.

got a cylinder that’s movin too quick, would this valve let me dial the speed down without the load changing it all over the place?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jan 25, 2026, 5:50 PM
With a fixed pressure compensated flow regulator, it holds a more consistent set flow as pressure changes, so you can use it to control actuator speed (meter in or meter out) with less speed swing from load changes. Flow goes in the inlet, through an adjustable orifice, and out the regulated port, and the built in check valve gives you free return flow from port 2 to port 1.
Question by: Neal R on Mar 12, 2026, 6:57 PM
runs up to 5000 psi, but what's the actual flow range this valve handles day to day?
Answer by: Customer Support on Mar 14, 2026, 10:08 AM
Rated flow tops out at 16 GPM, and the adjustable range runs from 1.6 GPM up to that maximum. The pressure compensation keeps flow steady even when system pressure fluctuates, so what you dial in is pretty much what you get at the actuator regardless of load changes. That makes it well suited for mobile equipment like harvesters or refuse haulers where demand shifts constantly.
