DANFOSS / EATON/HANSEN PLUG

Description & Features

Constructed from stainless steel with a Buna-N seal, this male half quick disconnect coupling plug is designed for demanding environments including chemical processing, food and beverage, military, and aerospace applications. The Danfoss / Eaton Hansen Plug uses a ball lock internal connection mechanism and connects via a push-to-connect interface on one end, with a 1/4 in. NPT male thread on the other.

Rated for a flow rate of 2.2 gallons per minute and operable down to -40°F, this plug exceeds ISO 16028 pressure requirements and requires no special tools to connect or disconnect. Marketed under the Aeroquip and Hansen sub-brands, it is well suited for fluid handling lines where fast, reliable coupling changes are a routine requirement.

Question by: Curt H on Jun 20, 2025, 12:51 PM
Is this the right kinda fitting to use with brake lines, or is it more for other fluids?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jun 21, 2025, 3:27 PM
Designed for demanding applications, this plug works well with various fluid handling lines, including chemical processing and food and beverage systems. It’s also used in military and aerospace. For brake lines specifically, you’d want to double-check compatibility with your specific fluid type to ensure optimal performance and safety.
