trying to match up an old hose end, is this one a male pipe thread on one side?

On the threaded end you get a male NPTF connection, and the other end is the line hose tube side of the fitting assembly.

What's the thread type on the male end of this fitting, and what size hose does it hook up to?

The male pipe end runs NPTF threads at 1 inch. On the hose side, it connects to dash 16 hose, which works out to a 1 inch hose ID. Carbon steel construction throughout, so it holds up well in tough working conditions.
