Question by: Wes T on Oct 18, 2025, 9:10 AM
Running this on a refuse hauler and need to know if the pressure rating is gonna hold up. We're talkin' regular heavy-cycle work, not just occasional use. That 5,000 psi rating real or is that a peak number?
Answer by: Customer Support on Oct 19, 2025, 4:58 PM
350 bar, which works out to 5,000 psi, is the rated pressure for this valve. For refuse hauler duty that's a solid rating, and the hardened and ground steel construction is what makes it stand up to that kind of repeated pressure cycling rather than just handling a spike here and there. The SV4-10 series was built with exactly that type of application in mind, so you're not pushing it outside its intended use.
