Flow rating on this thing says 265 L/min but then also mentions 30 L/min somewhere, which one actually applies to how it runs day to day?

Both numbers are real, they just describe different things. The 265 liters per minute (70 USgpm) is the valve's maximum rated flow capacity, meaning that's the ceiling it can handle without overpressure concern. The 30 liters per minute figure reflects the operational flow rate for standard working conditions. So in a typical system running normal cycles, you're looking at 30 L/min through the valve during operation, with the 265 L/min rating giving you headroom if demand spikes.
