Designed for demanding mobile and industrial environments, the Vickers FCV7-10-S-0-NV-16 is a compact flow control valve rated to 350 bar (5,000 psi) with a maximum system flow capacity of 350 L/min (92 USgpm). The unit functions as a flow restrictor and is configured to deliver a regulated flow rate of 45 litres per minute, making it well suited for precise flow management in hydraulic circuits.
Part of the Vickers FCV7-10 series by Danfoss/Eaton, this valve balances reliable pressure handling with an economical, space-efficient design. Typical applications include harvesters, refuse haulers, and a broad range of mobile and stationary industrial machinery where consistent flow control under high-pressure conditions is required.

Question by: Daryl S on Jan 30, 2026, 2:50 PM
got a harvester that's been running hot and sluggish and I think the flow control valve is the culprit. this a 45 lpm unit?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jan 31, 2026, 3:29 PM
Yeah, 45 litres per minute is the regulated flow rate on this one. It's part of the FCV7-10 series from Vickers, now under Danfoss/Eaton, and it's built specifically as a flow restrictor to keep your circuit running at that set rate. For harvester applications it's a pretty common fit, so if your current valve has been giving you grief, this would be a like-for-like replacement in terms of flow output.

Will this work okay on a log splitter running at its max? Figure it hits around 4800-4900 psi sometimes.
Answer by: Customer Support on May 30, 2025, 12:09 PM
Designed for demanding environments, this Vickers flow control valve is rated up to 5000 psi, so it should handle the pressure on your log splitter without any trouble.
