Danfoss / Eaton SICV PFR12

Description & Features

Designed for demanding mobile and industrial environments, the Danfoss / Eaton SICV PFR12 is an adjustable, pressure-compensated flow regulator valve engineered to deliver consistent flow control across variable load conditions. Rated to 350 bar (5,000 psi) with a system capacity of up to 350 L/min (92 USgpm), it is built to handle high-pressure hydraulic circuits with a flow rate of 64 litres per minute at the valve level.

Part of the Vickers by Danfoss Power Solutions SICV flow control valve range, the PFR12 combines a compact form factor with reliable performance across a broad range of applications, including harvesters, refuse haulers, and both mobile and industrial hydraulic systems. Its pressure-compensated design maintains regulated flow independent of pressure fluctuations, reducing the need for downstream correction and supporting stable circuit behaviour.

Question by: Ralph G on Nov 27, 2025, 7:30 AM
flow rate on this thing is listed at 64 litres per minute at the valve, but the system capacity goes up to 350 L/min, how does that work exactly?
Answer by: Customer Support on Nov 29, 2025, 8:23 AM
At the valve level, flow is regulated to 64 litres per minute, which is what the PFR12 controls and meters through the circuit. The 350 L/min figure reflects the broader system capacity the valve is rated to operate within, meaning the overall hydraulic circuit can be moving that much fluid, but the valve itself is managing its portion at 64 L/min. Pressure compensation keeps that valve-level flow steady even when system pressure shifts around.
