trying to swap a fitting on an old hose, will this one match 7/16-20 jic on one end and m8x1.0 on the other?

It has a 7/16-20 UNF JIC male on side 1 (1/4 inch size) and an M8 x 1.0 metric male on side 2 (8 mm size), so it is meant to join those two thread types in one elbow fitting.
