trying to hook a JIC line up to a metric port, is this the adapter that goes 7/8-14 UNF to M22x1.5?

For bridging those two standards, it mates a 7/8 - 14 UNF male JIC end on one side to a M22 x 1.5 male Metric end on the other.

Got a piece of equipment running M22 x 1.5 metric ports and need to tie into some JIC lines. This fitting work for that kind of crossover?

That's what this one's built for. One end is a 7/8-14 UNF male JIC and the other is an M22 x 1.5 male metric, so it bridges those two thread standards without any adapters in between. The 90-degree elbow shape also gives you some room to work when your ports aren't pointing the right direction, which comes in handy on tighter installs.
