Hose Barb-Metric Banjo Low Psi

Description & Features

Configured as a 90° elbow, this steel hose barb-to-metric banjo adapter is designed for low-pressure hydraulic line connections where a compact directional change is required. One end accepts a 1/2" hose barb, while the opposite end terminates in an M16 x 1.5 male metric banjo fitting, making it well-suited for routing flexible hose to banjo-ported components such as control valves or cylinders.

The Hose Barb-Metric Banjo Low Psi is manufactured by Adaptall in steel and measures 42mm in overall length. The banjo side has a 16mm bore dimension, with an 18mm and 28mm reference across additional body dimensions. This fitting is intended for low-pressure service and should be selected accordingly when specifying connections in hydraulic or fluid transfer circuits.

trying to hook a 1/2 inch hose up to a banjo port, is this the right fitting?
Answer by: Customer Support on Aug 26, 2025, 11:39 AM
Built for that kind of hookup, it transitions from a 1/2 inch hose barb on one end to an M16 x 1.5 male metric banjo on the other, with a 90 degree elbow to turn the line.
Question by: Earl W on May 26, 2025, 8:46 AM
fitting's only 42mm long, will that be enough clearance to make a 90 degree turn without kinkin the hose where it connects?
Answer by: Customer Support on May 27, 2025, 7:35 PM
At 42mm overall, it's a pretty compact elbow, so tight quarters are actually where it tends to shine. The 90 degree angle does the directional work, so your hose runs straight off the barb end rather than bending hard near the port. Whether it clears surrounding hardware depends on your specific setup, but the short body helps in confined spaces more often than it hurts.
