Designed for demanding mobile and industrial environments, the Vickers RV2-10-K-0-50/50 is a poppet-style pressure control valve rated to 350 bar (5,000 psi) with a flow rate of 114 litres per minute. Its compact form factor makes it well suited for installations where space is limited without sacrificing pressure management capability.
Typical applications include harvesters, refuse haulers, and a range of mobile and stationary hydraulic circuits. The poppet-style construction contributes to reliable, repeatable performance across variable duty cycles. As part of the Vickers by Danfoss/Eaton RV2-10 series, this valve balances functional flexibility with a compact footprint, supporting straightforward integration into existing hydraulic systems.

Running this on a refuse hauler that cycles pretty hard throughout the day. At 114 litres per minute, is that flow rate gonna hold up under that kind of continuous back-and-forth use?
Answer by: Customer Support on Oct 5, 2025, 10:12 AM
Refuse haulers are actually one of the applications this valve was built around, so that duty cycle is well within its intended use. The poppet-style construction is part of what makes it reliable across variable cycles since poppet designs tend to hold their calibration better under repeated load changes than spool-type valves. The 114 L/min flow rating combined with the 350 bar pressure ceiling gives you a decent margin for a hard-working truck circuit without running the valve close to its limits on a normal route.

So this thing's made for harvesters and stuff, but could I use it on, say, a log splitter?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jun 4, 2025, 6:35 AM
This RV2-10 series valve is often found in mobile hydraulics like you'd see on harvesters and refuse trucks, so a log splitter wouldn't be out of the question as long as your pressure and flow needs are in line with its specs.
