Got a harvester that keeps blowing relief valves and I'm tired of replacing cheap parts. This a poppet-style valve, does that hold up better than a spool type for that kind of application?
Answer by: Customer Support on Dec 26, 2025, 8:37 AM
Poppet-style valves generally handle pressure spikes better than spool types because the seating action gives you a tighter shutoff and less internal leakage over time. This particular valve is rated to 350 bar (5000 psi), so it's built for the kind of pressure demands you'd see in harvester hydraulics. The compact design also helps when you're working around tight equipment layouts. For agricultural equipment like harvesters, it's a solid fit both in terms of rated pressure and intended application.
