VICKERS 36M115A 1C20

Description & Features

Designed for demanding hydraulic circuits, the Vickers 36M115A 1C20 is an M Series vane motor built for reliable performance across a range of industrial drive applications. Constructed from cast iron with Buna-N seals, it is suited for continuous duty in elevator scraper drives, hydrostatic drives, and auxiliary hydraulic systems where consistent torque output and quiet operation are priorities.

Part of the Vickers M Series line, now produced under the Danfoss/Eaton brand family, this motor delivers efficient fluid-to-mechanical power conversion with a design emphasis on longevity and low noise. The cast iron housing provides structural durability in demanding mobile and industrial environments.

Product Questions & Answers (2)

Question by: Hank B on Aug 3, 2025, 8:58 PM
Is this vane motor okay for continuous use in, say, an elevator scraper?
Answer by: Customer Support on Aug 5, 2025, 5:40 PM
Exactly. This Vickers M Series motor is built to handle the demands of continuous duty in applications like elevator scraper drives, along with hydrostatic drives and other auxiliary hydraulic systems.
Question by: Curt W on May 27, 2025, 7:27 AM
what kind of seals does this motor use, and is cast iron the housing material all the way through or just the outer shell?
Answer by: Customer Support on May 28, 2025, 8:26 AM
Cast iron runs throughout the housing construction, not just a surface layer. The seals are Buna-N, which hold up well in standard hydraulic fluid environments. Both of those material choices are part of why this motor is built for continuous duty work rather than occasional use.
