Designed for truck and trailer air brake systems, the Aeroquip Airbrake 1/2 OD Eclipse 100 Ft is a multi-braid hose built from high-quality proprietary blended nylon tube material with a synthetic fiber reinforcement and a polyester cover. The blue-jacketed construction delivers premium abrasion resistance and maintains flexibility across a wide temperature range, with a minimum working temperature of -40°F and a minimum bend radius of 2 inches.

Rated for 125,000 impulse cycles, this hose is well-suited to the demands of formed tube assemblies, straight and formed air brake harness assemblies, and auxiliary air systems. Non-conductive by design, it meets SAE J1131, SAE J844, and SAE J2494-2 standards, and carries DOT FMVSS 106 compliance, requirements common to commercial vehicle air brake applications. At a packaged weight of 7 lb per 100-foot coil, the lightweight construction supports easier routing and installation in vehicle brake harness configurations.

got a truck with air brakes and i need blue line, is this the kind that works for brake and trailer air systems?

does this hose hold up in real cold weather, like well below freezing? asking cause we run trucks through some rough winters and cant afford lines cracking on us

Rated down to negative 40 degrees, so genuine cold snaps are not going to be a problem for it. The nylon tube and polyester cover hold their flexibility at low temps better than a lot of standard air brake lines, which tend to get stiff and brittle when things really drop. For winter fleet use, that low-end rating gives you solid peace of mind.

What's the smallest radius I can bend this stuff without kinking it?
