got a tight spot on a trailer, how sharp can i bend this 5/8 eclipse hose without kinkin it
Answer by: Customer Support on Jun 23, 2025, 7:59 PM
For tight routing, the published minimum bend radius is 2.5 inches. Keeping your bend at or above that radius helps it hold its shape and avoid kinking.

does this hose hold up to the cold? running air brake lines on a rig that sees some pretty rough winters and the last stuff I used got stiff and cracked on me
Answer by: Customer Support on Jan 5, 2026, 4:51 PM
Cold weather performance is built into this hose. It's rated down to negative 40 degrees, so freezing temps alone shouldn't cause the stiffness or cracking you've dealt with before. The nylon tube material and polyester cover hold up well in those conditions, and the multi-braid construction helps it stay flexible rather than going brittle when the mercury drops.
