Question by: Bobby S on Oct 26, 2025, 4:26 PM
got a little 1/8 pipe run that needs a straight coupler, is this just a male to male nipple?
Answer by: Customer Support on Oct 28, 2025, 12:05 PM
It’s a long nipple style adapter with NPTF male threads on both ends, sized 1/8 inch on each side, so it’s meant to join two female NPTF ports or fittings in a straight line.
Question by: Vince J on Jul 17, 2025, 7:25 AM
Will this fitting hold up to regular use in a hydraulic system?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jul 18, 2025, 1:35 PM
Dura-Kote plating is designed to provide superior corrosion resistance, so it should be able to withstand regular use.
Question by: Dustin M on Jul 25, 2025, 7:04 PM
both ends on this are NPTF male right? trying to figure out if it'll work as a nipple between two female ports on a manifold block
Answer by: Customer Support on Jul 27, 2025, 6:07 AM
Correct on both counts. Both ends are 1/8 inch NPTF male threads, so it'll connect two female NPTF ports without any adapters in between. The NPTF thread form gives you a pressure-tight mechanical seal on its own, which makes it a solid choice for that kind of inline nipple application.
