Question by: Todd M on Jan 26, 2026, 3:25 PM
both ends on this thing are NPTF male right? trying to make sure before i order, had the wrong fitting show up last time and it held up the whole job
Answer by: Customer Support on Jan 28, 2026, 7:50 AM
Correct on both ends. The 3328X8 runs NPTF male on one side and NPTF male on the other, half-inch on each end. It's a straight nipple adapter, so there's no mix of thread types or sizes here. If your application calls for male-to-male NPTF at 1/2 inch, this is a direct match.
Question by: Debbie H on Aug 26, 2025, 8:03 AM
Will this fitting hold up if I'm running hydraulic fluid through it at a pretty good clip?
Answer by: Customer Support on Aug 28, 2025, 6:46 AM
Designed with higher operating pressures in mind, this Eaton brass adapter exceeds SAE standards, so it should handle typical hydraulic applications.
