Danfoss / Eaton Brass Adapter

Description & Features

Designed for use in grease, refrigeration, instrumentation, and hydraulic systems, this 1/2 in. NPTF male-to-male brass adapter provides a reliable threaded connection in a compact nipple configuration. Brass construction offers natural corrosion resistance, and the Dura-Kote plating adds a further layer of protection in demanding service environments. The fitting meets SAE, ASA, and ASME certification standards, supporting higher operating pressures above baseline SAE requirements.

The Danfoss / Eaton Brass Adapter is part of the Aeroquip line, which spans hundreds of styles to accommodate a wide range of connection requirements. Rated for a minimum working temperature of -65°F, it is well-suited for low-temperature refrigeration and instrumentation applications. Specialty configurations for fuel, LP, and natural gas service are available on special order.

Product Questions & Answers (1)

Question by: Melvin F on May 3, 2025, 4:09 PM
Will this adapter hold up to hydraulic pressures, or is it just for lower-pressure stuff like grease lines?
Answer by: Customer Support on May 5, 2025, 6:07 AM
This adapter is rated to handle higher operating pressures than standard SAE requirements, so it's suitable for hydraulic systems as well as grease, refrigeration, and instrumentation applications.
