Question by: Wes J on Dec 4, 2025, 9:06 PM
Got a transit mixer that's been burning through motors and I'm trying to figure out if this one's built to handle that kind of punishment long term. What's it made of and what kind of torque are we talking?
Answer by: Customer Support on Dec 6, 2025, 6:29 AM
Cast iron construction on this one, so it's not going to flex or wear the way lighter housings do under sustained load. Torque rating comes in at 397 newton meters, which puts it in solid territory for heavy mixer applications. The fixed axial-piston design keeps output consistent, so you're not chasing performance variance when the drum is full and the machine is working hard.

Hey, can this run a transit mixer all day without overheating?
Answer by: Customer Support on Nov 10, 2025, 9:42 AM
This motor is designed for demanding applications like transit mixers, so it should hold up well under continuous use.
