Product Questions & Answers (1)

Question by: Vince S on Aug 7, 2025, 6:19 PM
Got a transit mixer that's been giving us fits with the old motor setup. This Danfoss Series 1 rated for that kind of work, or is it more suited to lighter stuff?
Answer by: Customer Support on Aug 9, 2025, 2:05 PM
Transit mixers are actually one of the listed applications for this motor, so you're in the right place. It's built from cast iron and rated at 397 newton meters of torque, which is the kind of output that holds up under the constant load a mixer drum puts on a drivetrain. The 67.3 gallon per minute flow rate also supports the sustained demand that kind of equipment runs at. It's a heavy duty fixed motor, not a light duty unit dressed up to look like one.
