Danfoss / Eaton-33 Fixed Motor

Description & Features

Designed for high-demand mobile and industrial applications, the Danfoss / Eaton-33 Fixed Motor is a fixed axial-piston motor built to handle the rigorous requirements of equipment such as transit mixers, motor graders, dozers, cranes, lift trucks, and windrowers. Its compact design supports integration into space-constrained machine configurations without sacrificing output.

Rated at 397 Newton metres of torque and capable of handling flow rates up to 67.3 gallons per minute, this motor is well-suited for applications requiring consistent, reliable rotary output. Pro-FX ready compatibility supports dynamic machine control in electronically managed systems, making it a practical choice for precision-driven equipment platforms in agriculture, construction, oil and gas, and marine environments.

Marketed under the Char-Lynn brand, this motor reflects the Danfoss heavy-duty fixed motor lineage and is stocked with a lead time of 165 days. Buyers should confirm compatibility with existing system requirements prior to ordering.

Product Questions & Answers (2)

Question by: Vince A on Jun 30, 2025, 8:40 PM
What kind of machines does this Eaton-33 motor typically go in?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jul 2, 2025, 6:01 AM
This motor is often used in equipment like transit mixers, road rollers, motor graders, dozers, cranes, sweepers, lift trucks, tractors, windrowers, planters, as well as in oil & gas and marine applications.
Question by: Dean S on Jun 15, 2025, 12:37 PM
Got a transit mixer that's been giving us fits with the old motor, does this one put out enough torque to handle that kind of load?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jun 16, 2025, 3:06 PM
At 397 newton metres, this motor carries enough torque for transit mixer duty, which is exactly one of the applications it was built for. That output level is rated for the kind of sustained rotational load those drums demand, so it fits right in that use case without being underpowered for the job.
