90° Street Elbow

Description & Features

Constructed from brass with Eaton Aeroquip's Dura-Kote plating for corrosion resistance, this NPTF Male x NPTF Female 90° Street Elbow is designed for use in hydraulic, instrumentation, grease, and refrigeration systems. The male end is 1/8 in. NPTF and the female end is 1/4 in. NPTF, making it well suited for directional changes in tight installations where a standard elbow would require additional fittings.

Certified to SAE 130239 and Asme standards, this adapter is rated for operating pressures above standard SAE requirements. Eaton Aeroquip's broad range of compatible adapter styles supports flexible system configurations across a wide variety of industrial applications.

Question by: Gene F on Sep 29, 2025, 11:23 AM
trying to swap out an elbow on a small line, what size threads are on each end of this 3400X4X2?
Answer by: Customer Support on Oct 1, 2025, 6:44 AM
On this street elbow, one end is a 1/8 NPTF male and the other end is a 1/4 NPTF female.
Question by: Denise P on Jun 26, 2025, 3:45 PM
brass fitting rated for hydraulic use, or is this more of a hydraulic connections part?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jun 28, 2025, 6:07 AM
Hydraulic systems are a listed application for this fitting, right alongside instrumentation and refrigeration lines. It's made from brass and carries both SAE 130239 and ASME certifications, so it meets recognized industry standards rather than being a basic hydraulic connections-grade piece. The Dura-Kote plating also gives it better corrosion resistance than a standard brass fitting off a hardware shelf.
Question by: Merle W on May 21, 2025, 1:20 PM
What kind of stuff is this elbow fitting good for?
Answer by: Customer Support on May 22, 2025, 3:43 PM
Typically, this 90° street elbow is used for grease, refrigeration, instrumentation, and hydraulic systems. It's also available for fuel, LP, and natural gas, but that's on a special order basis.
