Wondering if this'll work with my setup, I've got a 7/8-14 thread on both ends that needs a good seal.

This adapter is designed for exactly that – a 7/8-14 thread size on both ends (B1 and B2 connections) and comes with NBR O-rings to ensure a leak-resistant seal. It's made to SAE J514 standards, so it should fit well if your system matches those specs.
Question by: Danny G on Feb 4, 2026, 12:23 PM
Both ends on this thing are 7/8-14, so what's actually different between the two sides?
Answer by: Customer Support on Feb 5, 2026, 1:28 PM
Good catch worth clarifying. One end is a Male SAE Adjustable O-Ring Boss, and the other is a Male SAE O-Ring Boss. The adjustable end lets you rotate and lock the fitting to a specific orientation once installed, which is handy when you're working in a tight spot and need the port angle to line up just right. The fixed ORB end goes in straight with no adjustment. Same thread size on both, but they're not interchangeable in function.
