Constructed from brass and certified to ASME, SAE 130425, and ASA standards, the Danfoss / Eaton Brass Adapter is a three-port tee fitting configured with two 1/2" NPTF female ends and one 1/2" NPTF male end. This arrangement supports branch connections in hydraulic circuits where a single line must split or merge at a common junction point.
Manufactured under the Eaton Aeroquip line, the fitting features Dura-Kote plating for corrosion resistance and is rated for operating pressures that exceed standard SAE requirements. A minimum working temperature of -65°F supports use in cold-environment applications. Weighing 0.5 lb, it is compact and straightforward to integrate into existing hydraulic assemblies.

Question by: Judy H on Apr 24, 2025, 8:20 AM
Will this tee adapter work with standard NPT fittings?
Answer by: Customer Support on Apr 26, 2025, 6:13 AM
Yes, this Eaton brass adapter is designed with NPTF (National Pipe Taper Fuel) ends, which are compatible with standard NPT fittings.
Question by: Vince G on May 18, 2025, 4:27 PM
what's the material on this tee adapter, and is it gonna hold up alright in a corrosive environment?
Answer by: Customer Support on May 20, 2025, 6:56 AM
Brass construction with Dura-Kote plating gives it solid corrosion resistance beyond what you'd get from a plain uncoated fitting. For most industrial and fluid handling setups where moisture or mild chemical exposure is a concern, that combination holds up well. It also meets ASME, SAE 130425, and ASA certifications, so there's a real standard behind the build quality, not just a marketing claim.
Question by: Jean D on Aug 18, 2025, 7:10 AM
trying to replace a tee on my line, are all three ports on this one 1/2 NPTF and what’s the gender on each end?
Answer by: Customer Support on Aug 19, 2025, 8:37 PM
All three ends are 0.5 inch NPTF. The two branch ends are female, and the third end is male, so it is a NPTF Female to NPTF Female to NPTF Male tee adapter.
