Male Pipe

Description & Features

Constructed from brass and carbon steel, this Eaton Aeroquip 190628 Series Male Pipe fitting is a reusable hose fitting designed for dependable performance across a wide range of hydraulic hose assemblies. The NPTF male thread end pairs with a line, hose, or tube connection on the opposite end, with a hex size of 2.25 inches suited to a -24 hose dash size. The reusable design helps reduce waste and cut assembly times, making it a practical choice for high-volume assembly environments.

Part of the Aeroquip 190628 Series from Eaton, this fitting assembly is built to handle the demands of industrial hydraulic systems. The dual-material construction, brass and carbon steel, supports both corrosion resistance and structural integrity where it counts most.

Product Questions & Answers (2)

Question by: Johnny H on Aug 28, 2025, 5:22 PM
Will this fitting work with a regular NPT pipe, or does it need to be the NPTF kind?
Answer by: Customer Support on Aug 30, 2025, 12:48 PM
This Aeroquip fitting is made with an NPTF (National Pipe Taper Fuel) end, which is designed for a tighter seal than standard NPT threads. It's best to use it with other NPTF-compatible components to ensure a leak-free connection.
Question by: Neal W on Oct 14, 2025, 12:05 PM
what's the thread type on the pipe end of this fitting, NPTF or just NPT?
Answer by: Customer Support on Oct 16, 2025, 9:25 AM
The pipe end on this fitting is NPTF. That's the dryseal version of the standard tapered pipe thread, so it forms a pressure-tight seal through thread interference alone without relying on sealant tape or compound. It's a meaningful difference in hydraulic and fluid line work where leaks are not an option.
