Question by: Howard G on Aug 11, 2025, 5:12 PM
does this thing just slip over the hose end or does it need some kind of clamp to hold it in place?
Answer by: Customer Support on Aug 13, 2025, 3:58 PM
No clamps or extra hardware needed. The bend restrictor goes on at the connection point and holds its position without any additional mounting equipment. Installation is pretty straightforward since there's nothing to adjust or calibrate, just get it in place and you're good to go.

Question by: Dale P on Feb 26, 2026, 11:32 AM
keep getting a kink right where my hose hooks up. is this bend restrictor meant to stop that?
Answer by: Customer Support on Feb 27, 2026, 9:17 PM
At the connection point, a bend restrictor helps keep the hose from folding over on itself, which is where kinks and early wear usually start. The whole purpose of this one is to prevent hose bends at the fitting end so the hose lasts longer in regular industrial use.
