this the left-hand rotation version of the V10 vane pump, or is that just part of the model number?

Left-hand rotation is built into the design on this one. The "LH" at the end of the model designation confirms the shaft rotates counterclockwise when viewed from the shaft end. Worth double-checking your power unit setup before dropping it in, since running a left-hand pump with a right-hand drive will cause problems fast.
