DANFOSS / EATON-VAL ASY

Description & Features

Designed for demanding mobile hydraulic applications, the Danfoss / Eaton-Val Asy is a monoblock directional control valve built with cast iron bodies for solid, long-lasting construction. Internal passages are cored for efficient flow, and the open-center parallel circuit design supports reliable directional control across a range of mobile equipment configurations.

An adjustable pin-type relief valve is factory set at 138 bar (2,000 psi), providing consistent overpressure protection out of the box. This valve is suited for use in excavators, forestry equipment, refuse trucks, forklifts, agricultural machinery, truck-mounted cranes, and marine applications, making it a practical choice across diverse mobile hydraulic systems where durability and circuit flexibility are priorities.

Question by: Lynn T on Sep 16, 2025, 1:42 PM
Factory set at 2,000 psi is fine for most of what I run, but can that relief valve be adjusted up or down if the job calls for something different?
Answer by: Customer Support on Sep 17, 2025, 2:59 PM
Yes, and that's one of the more useful things about this valve. The pin-type relief is adjustable, so if your application runs at a lower working pressure or you need to tweak it after installation, you've got that flexibility without swapping out components. It ships set at 138 bar (2,000 psi) from the factory, which covers a wide range of common mobile hydraulic work right out of the box.
