DANFOSS / EATON-S2 39 VARIABLE PUMP CCW

Description & Features

Designed for closed circuit hydraulic systems in demanding mobile environments, the Danfoss / Eaton S2 39 Variable Pump Ccw is a variable displacement piston pump built for consistent performance across construction, agriculture, oil and gas, and truck and bus applications.

Variable displacement control allows the pump to adapt output to system demand, making it well-suited for mobile equipment where load conditions change frequently. Multiple control options are available, and the unit is Pro-FX ready, supporting integration with Danfoss advanced control architectures. Counterclockwise rotation is specified for this configuration.

Proven reliability in high-duty-cycle applications is a defining characteristic of the Series 2 platform, which has an established record in mobile closed circuit use.

Question by: Hank G on Jul 12, 2025, 8:37 PM
Got a piece of equipment that needs a CCW pump in this displacement range for closed circuit work. This the right fit for that kind of setup?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jul 14, 2025, 6:11 AM
Closed circuit mobile applications are exactly what the Series 2 platform was built around. The CCW rotation is fixed on this configuration, so as long as your system calls for counterclockwise and you're running a closed circuit layout, you're in the right ballpark. It's been used across construction, agriculture, oil and gas, and truck and bus equipment, so it's got a track record in the kind of high-duty-cycle environments where load demands shift constantly.
Question by: Dale J on Apr 25, 2025, 7:22 AM
Reckon this pump would hold up okay in some heavy-duty farm equipment that runs pretty much all day long?
Answer by: Customer Support on Apr 27, 2025, 6:10 AM
Application in demanding mobile environments is a key design parameter of the Series 2 platform. Proven reliability in high-duty-cycle applications is a defining characteristic, and it has an established record in mobile closed circuit use.
