Danfoss / Eaton M39 Hi-Speed VAR.Pump

Description & Features

Designed for demanding mobile environments, the Danfoss / Eaton M39 Hi-Speed VAR.Pump is a variable displacement, closed-circuit piston pump built for heavy-duty service across construction, agriculture, truck and bus, oil and gas, and other mobile applications. Its variable displacement design allows flow output to be matched to system demand, making it well suited to high-cycle mobile equipment where efficiency and control responsiveness matter.

The pump supports multiple control options and is Pro-FX ready, enabling integration with advanced electronic control architectures for mobile machinery. Proven reliability in demanding field conditions is a core characteristic of the Series 1 platform, and servo control functionality supports precise proportional response in closed-circuit drive systems.

Question by: Howard C on Jul 6, 2025, 12:54 PM
Got a closed-circuit drive system on a piece of heavy construction equipment and trying to figure out if this pump'll work for it. Variable displacement, servo control, that what this is?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jul 7, 2025, 4:01 PM
Yeah, that's exactly what this is. The M39 is a variable displacement closed-circuit piston pump with servo control built in, so it's made for the kind of proportional response you need in a closed-circuit drive setup. Construction is one of the primary applications it was designed around, so that lines up well with what you're running.
Question by: Ricky M on Feb 26, 2026, 3:13 PM
Will this pump work alright in heavy equipment like a bulldozer or is it more for lighter duty stuff?
Answer by: Customer Support on Feb 27, 2026, 7:30 PM
It's definitely built for heavy-duty service. The Danfoss / Eaton M39 Hi-Speed VAR.Pump is designed for demanding mobile environments like construction equipment, agriculture, and even oil and gas applications.
