Would this work good on a dump truck?

flow rate on this pump listed at 64 liters a minute -- is that what we'd actually see running it on a dump truck application or is that more of a peak rating?

For dump truck use, that 64.27 liters per minute is the rated flow output for this particular displacement configuration. Vane pumps in the V20 series are pressure-balanced, which helps keep flow fairly consistent rather than giving you big spikes and drops. The 12-vane design specifically works to minimize flow pulsation, so what you see on paper translates reasonably well to real operating conditions. That said, actual system flow will still depend on your drive speed and system back pressure like any pump.
