Its nylon inner tube resists absorption of most oils and fluids, while a single-ply synthetic fiber braid provides reliable reinforcement. The perforated polyurethane cover offers abrasion resistance and keeps weight notably lower than comparable wire-braided rubber hoses, a practical advantage in mobile and weight-sensitive installations.
