Designed for general hydraulics, material handling, chemical transfer, and marine steering, this dash-5 thermoplastic hose combines a nylon inner tube with a single-ply synthetic fiber braid and a perforated polyurethane cover. The cover resists absorption of most oils and fluids and provides standard abrasion resistance, making it well suited for environments where hose contact with adjacent components or surfaces is a concern.

The Danfoss / Eaton Synflex 100R7 250 Ft/Box Contd belongs to the Synflex 3TR7 series and meets SAE 100R7 requirements. At roughly half the weight of equivalent wire-braided rubber hose, it reduces system load without sacrificing flexibility, the minimum bend radius is 1.5 inches. The hose is conductive, carries an ink jet lay line, and is rated down to -40°F for cold-weather service. Black in color, it ships in a 250-foot box weighing approximately 35 lb.

Can you use this hose for hydraulics on farm equipment, or is it more for shop stuff?

This Synflex hose works well for general hydraulics, including on farm equipment. It's also good for material handling, chemical transfer, and even marine steering.
