Hose, thermo, Synflex 100R7 250 FT/BOX 2

Description & Features

Designed for general hydraulics material handling chemical transfer and marine steering applications this thermoplastic hose by Danfoss Power Solutions (II LLC Aeroquip) offers exceptional performance. The Synflex 100R7 series features a highly abrasion-resistant polyurethane cover that effectively prevents absorption of most oils and fluids ensuring reliable functionality.

Constructed with a perforated cover style and reinforced with synthetic fiber the hose remains durable while being approximately twice as light as equivalent wire braided rubber hoses. The inner tube material is high-quality nylon providing enhanced durability and flexibility. Its 1-ply braid construction meets industry standards for abrasion resistance with a minimum bend radius of 2 inches.

Suitable for use in varying environments the hose functions efficiently within a temperature range of -40 degrees. Black in color it has a nominal product width of 0.65 inches and the dash size is -6.

Question by: Wade H on Aug 25, 2025, 6:11 AM
hose says it's good for chemical transfer, does the cover actually hold up when it's around oils and hydraulic fluids all day, or does it break down after a while?
Answer by: Customer Support on Aug 27, 2025, 6:28 AM
Polyurethane covers handle oil exposure pretty well, and that's exactly what this one is built around. The material is formulated to resist absorption of most oils and fluids, so you're not looking at a cover that's going to swell up or degrade from routine hydraulic fluid contact. The nylon inner tube adds another layer of protection from the inside out. For general hydraulic and chemical transfer use, it holds its integrity better than a lot of rubber alternatives in the same class.

got a tight spot to route hose, how sharp can i bend this Synflex 100R7 before it starts kinking up
Answer by: Customer Support on May 30, 2025, 8:19 AM
For tight routing, the minimum bend radius on this Synflex 100R7 hose is 2 inches. Keeping your bends at or above that radius helps it flex without kinking and protects the 1 ply synthetic fiber reinforcement.
