The Eaton Synflex 100R7 series thermoplastic hydraulic hose is engineered for versatility in general hydraulics, material handling, chemical transfer, and marine steering applications. Its construction features a 1-ply braid of synthetic fiber, offering strength and durability. The polyurethane cover is highly abrasion-resistant and prevents the absorption of most oils and fluids, ensuring longevity in demanding environments.
This non-conductive hose is 2X lighter than equivalent wire braided rubber hoses, making it easier to handle and install. With a minimum bend radius of just 1.25 inches and a nylon tube material, the hose maintains flexibility while operating efficiently at temperatures as low as -40°F. The vibrant orange color adds visibility in complex systems.

Question by: Lance F on Feb 12, 2026, 9:40 PM
What kinda stuff is this hose good for?
Answer by: Customer Support on Feb 14, 2026, 8:20 AM
It's good for general hydraulic systems, moving materials, handling chemicals, and even steering boats.
Question by: Rod J on May 24, 2025, 9:57 PM
hose says it's non-conductive, does that hold up around electrical equipment or is that more of a general rating?
Answer by: Customer Support on May 26, 2025, 6:52 AM
Non-conductive is baked into the construction on this one. The synthetic fiber braid and nylon tube don't carry current, so it won't create a path to ground the way a wire-braided rubber hose might. That makes it a reasonable choice when routing near electrical components or in environments where you want to avoid any conductivity risk. Just make sure fittings and routing don't introduce metal contact points that would undercut that property.

got a tight spot to snake a hose through, how sharp can this Synflex 100R7 bend without kinking up on me?
Answer by: Customer Support on Mar 11, 2026, 2:55 PM
For cramped routing, the minimum bend radius on this hose is 1.25 inches, so it is built to make fairly tight turns compared to a lot of hydraulic hose.
