DANFOSS / EATON SYNFLEX THERMOPLASTIC HOSE 100R7

Description & Features

The Eaton Synflex Thermoplastic Hose 100R7 is crafted for demanding applications such as material handling and marine steering. Featuring a highly abrasion-resistant polyurethane cover this hose prevents absorption of most oils and fluids ensuring durability and longevity.

Designed with a 1-ply synthetic fiber braid reinforcement it offers superior strength while being two times lighter than equivalent wire braided rubber hoses. Its non-conductive nature enhances safety in various environments.

With a minimum bend radius of 2.5 and a minimum working temperature of -40 it adapts to rigorous conditions making it ideal for general hydraulics and chemical transfer.

The hose orange in color has a 0.82 product width and is identified by an ink jet lay line style. Ensuring flexibility and reliability it does not require a mandrel for installation.

got a tight spot to route it through. how tight can this 100R7 hose bend without kinking up on me
Answer by: Customer Support on Jan 23, 2026, 8:02 PM
For routing, the spec to watch is the minimum bend radius, which is 2.5. Keeping your bend at or above that radius helps it stay flexible without forcing a sharp kink.
Question by: Kirk F on Dec 30, 2025, 1:53 PM
How much lighter is this hose compared to regular wire braided rubber hose? Trying to figure out if it's worth switching over for our material handling setup.
Answer by: Customer Support on Jan 1, 2026, 9:32 AM
At twice the weight savings over equivalent wire braided rubber hose, the difference adds up fast when you're routing long runs or working in tight spaces. The thermoplastic construction keeps it flexible without the bulk, and the polyurethane cover holds up against abrasion and resists absorbing most oils and fluids. For material handling applications it's a solid fit.
