VICKERS 1DR30P20S-SP2500

Description & Features

Designed for demanding mobile and industrial environments, the Vickers 1DR30P20S-SP2500 is a poppet-style pressure control valve from the 1DR30 Series, engineered to handle up to 350 bar (5,000 psi) and flow rates up to 300 L/min (80 USgpm). Its compact form factor makes it well-suited for installations where space is limited without sacrificing pressure handling capability.

Typical applications include harvesters, refuse haulers, and a broad range of mobile and industrial hydraulic circuits. The poppet valve style provides reliable, consistent pressure regulation, and the series is noted for its economical construction and installation flexibility. Manufactured under the Vickers brand by Danfoss/Eaton, this valve reflects the established performance standards of the 1DR30 product line.

Question by: Tommy C on Jun 12, 2025, 11:03 AM
got a harvester that keeps blowing relief valves under load, would a poppet-style valve like this hold up better for that kind of pressure cycling?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jun 13, 2025, 6:55 PM
Poppet designs tend to handle pressure spikes more consistently than spool-based alternatives because the seating geometry gives you a cleaner shut-off under load. This valve is rated to 350 bar (5,000 psi), so for most harvester circuits running hard under field conditions, it has the headroom to stay stable without nuisance relieving. The 1DR30 series was built with mobile equipment in mind, so pressure cycling in that kind of environment is exactly what it was designed around.

Reckon this valve would be alright to use on a refuse truck?

Application-wise, it's definitely suitable for refuse haulers, along with harvesters and general mobile or industrial hydraulic circuits.
