running a refuse hauler and need something that won't take up a ton of space on the valve bank, does this vickers unit actually hold up at high pressure or is it more of a light duty thing?

At 350 bar (5000 psi), this is not a light duty valve. That pressure rating puts it well within range for demanding mobile applications like refuse haulers, which is actually one of the specific uses it's built for. The spool style design keeps the footprint compact, so fitting it into a tight valve bank shouldn't be a problem. Flow capacity comes in at 200 liters per minute, so it can handle solid throughput without needing a bulkier unit.
