pump's rated for mining and oil field work, but what about injection molding? we run a pretty continuous cycle on our machines and need something that ain't gonna wear out fast
Answer by: Customer Support on Nov 27, 2025, 6:25 AM
Injection molding is actually one of the listed applications for this pump, so it's not a stretch at all. The PVQ40 series is built with longer service life as a core design priority, and the lower operating pressure it runs at helps reduce internal wear over time. For continuous-cycle molding use, that combination of reduced stress on components and quieter operation tends to hold up better than pumps pushing higher pressures through the same duty.
Question by: Joyce W on Jan 12, 2026, 6:26 AM
Reckon this pump could handle runnin' most of the day, or is it more for short bursts?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jan 13, 2026, 8:07 AM
Designed for demanding environments, the Vickers PVQ40AL01AB10A2100000200100CD0A is built to last, so continuous operation shouldn't be a problem as long as you stay within its intended application parameters.
