Aeroquip Reuse FIT 1/4MP 4Hose

Description & Features

Designed for use with -4 dash size hose, the Aeroquip Reuse Fit 1/4MP 4Hose is a reusable male pipe fitting from Eaton Aeroquip's 412 series, built for reliable performance across a wide range of hydraulic hose assembly applications. The male end features a 1/4" NPTF thread, and the fitting is constructed from carbon steel for durability in demanding industrial environments.

With a hex size of 0.62", this fitting assembly is straightforward to install and is well-suited for applications where hose fittings may need to be reused rather than replaced. The reusable design helps reduce assembly time and lowers material costs over repeated use cycles.

trying to match up a fitting i already got, is this one the male 1/4 pipe thread style for a -4 hose?
Answer by: Customer Support on Nov 26, 2025, 7:43 PM
The key callouts are 1/4 inch male NPTF on one end and a -4 hose connection on the other. This part is an Aeroquip 412 series reusable hose fitting with those sizes.
Question by: Jimmy M on Aug 20, 2025, 11:13 AM
fitting says 1/4MP on one end and -4 hose on the other, does that mean it'll thread into a 1/4 inch NPT port and clamp onto a -4 hydraulic line?
Answer by: Customer Support on Aug 22, 2025, 6:23 AM
That's right. The male end is 1/4 inch NPTF thread, so it screws into a standard female pipe port, and the hose end is sized for -4 hose. The 0.62 inch hex on the hose side gives you a good wrench flat to work with during install. Carbon steel construction on both ends, so it holds up in typical hydraulic line work.
